Still here in Washington State, my life is taking a temporary pause on relocation until this upcoming summer, my twin daughters will be graduated and going in the Air Force this upcoming summer so then my life will become my own for the very first time in my life, you have to realize that I was a mom at 19 so I really had no time to be "me". So when they leave then I will proceed down to California.

So everything is pretty much on hiatus, I will continue my graduate studies when I move from here, I can't focus properly enough to do it right now. The economy totally sucks, I am with 4 temp agencies and looking for a job full or part time and this area is as dry as the Sahara desert, how did I go from an IT computer trainer making almost $60K a year to almost nothing, I am trying so hard to hold on to my pride and self-esteem, and trying to be happy but it is a day by day struggle, so right now I am just existing.

The weather is nasty here, rainy and windy, just waiting on a clear day so I can get some new stock photos or anything to add to this gallery, I need to redo my portfolio for this site too: [link]

Also thank all of you for your 17,000+ visits to my gallery, it is nice to be able to share my world with you and also visit your galleries too. Seeing some of the galleries, it is like I am actually on a vacation trip to other countries and see sights that are new to me. It is quite exciting

Veterans Day (November 11th) in the United States, it is the observance that helps preserve the historical significance of the date, but helps focus attention on the important purpose of Veterans Day: A celebration to honor America's veterans for their patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good.

In my family it is a family tradition to join the military, my great grandfather, grandpa, father, sister, brother, "ME" and my son served in Iraq and Afghanistan. My twin daughters are in the Navy JROTC and are going into the Air Force this summer - 2010.

I was in the Army from 1982-1988, I spent 3 years in Ludwigsburg & Stuttgart, Germany and 3 years in Louisiana. I went in as a Cryptological Technician so that is where my "computer geekdom" really started.
